The LearnDash wpForo plugin provides seamless functionality between LearnDash and wpForo, making it easy to manage access and participation in forums based on course enrollment. This plugin is fully compatible with the BuddyX Theme, ensuring a cohesive and engaging experience for your learners.

Key Features of LearnDash wpForo

  • Enrollment-Based Forum Access: Admins can control forum visibility by allowing students to enroll in either ALL or ANY of the associated courses to access the forums.
  • Read-Only Access: Admins can enable read-only access for non-enrolled learners, allowing them to view forum discussions without the ability to post.
  • Course wpForo Forum Widget: A dedicated widget displays a list of forums associated with each course, helping learners easily navigate to the relevant discussions.

Forum Visibility Options

With wpForo, admins have flexible options to control who can access the forums based on course enrollment:

  • Access for Enrolled Students: Admins can select if users must be enrolled in ALL or ANY of the associated courses.
    • ALL: Learners need to be enrolled in all associated courses to participate.
    • ANY: Learners need to be enrolled in just one associated course to gain access.
  • Custom Access Messages: Admins can display custom messages for users who don’t meet the forum access criteria. This message supports HTML, allowing you to include links to sales or course enrollment pages.

Read-Only Forum Access for Non-Enrolled Learners

By default, users who do not meet the course enrollment criteria will receive an access denied message when attempting to view a forum. However, admins have the option to provide read-only access to these users, allowing them to view discussions but restricting their ability to post.
