10 Best WordPress Schema Plugins to Improve CTR & Website Ranking

10 Best WordPress Schema Plugins to Improve CTR & Website Ranking

Schema markup is structured data that helps search engines understand what a page is about, and it’s what makes rich snippets possible, the star ratings, prices, and FAQ dropdowns you see in search results. Rich snippets make a listing stand out, which tends to improve click-through rate even without a ranking change.

Every link in the previous version of this post was broken, pointing to a leftover Bing search-chat URL instead of the actual plugin. Fixed below, along with a status check on all 10.

1. Schema Pro

Schema Pro (Brainstorm Force) covers 13 schema types, article, review, product, service, recipe, course, event, FAQ, and more, with source-data mapping to existing fields and conditional logic for showing different types by context. Still active and widely used, 174,000+ sites per the vendor’s own count.

2. Ultimate Blocks

Ultimate Blocks is free and includes a Review block with schema markup for reviews and ratings, star/percentage/point systems, pros and cons lists, and a CTA button. Active, v3.5.7, updated within the last month.

3. Schema (formerly Review Schema)

Schema works with any editor, not just Gutenberg, and covers book, movie, software, local business, product, and service types with a shortcode generator for placing reviews anywhere on a page. Active.

4. WP Review Pro

WP Review Pro covers 19 schema types and 16 rich-snippet display styles, plus review imports from Google Places, Yelp, and Facebook. Still sold, $67-77.

5. WP Table Builder

Worth a caveat: WP Table Builder is a drag-and-drop table plugin, not a schema-first tool, its schema support is a side feature, not the main draw. Free, active, v2.1.18, updated within the last month. Include it if you specifically need styled comparison tables; skip it if schema markup is the only reason you’re looking.

6. ReviewX

ReviewX is built for WooCommerce specifically, multi-criteria ratings, photo/video reviews, verified badges, and review schema markup for product pages. Active, v2.4.1, updated within days of this writing.

7. All In One Schema Rich Snippets

All In One Schema Rich Snippets covers articles, events, products, recipes, and video with a simple per-post schema type selector. Free, active, v1.7.8, 2 million+ total downloads.

8. Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP

Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP covers the widest range here, 33+ schema types, plus AMP support and a built-in validator that flags errors before they hit production. Free, active, v1.62, 7.6 million+ total downloads.

9. Rank Math SEO

Rank Math SEO bundles schema support into its broader SEO toolkit, 15+ schema types with an in-editor picker. Free, active, 4 million+ installs.

10. Yoast SEO

Yoast SEO auto-generates schema based on your content and site settings, covering article, breadcrumb, FAQ, how-to, organization, and product types, with filters and hooks for developers who want to modify the output. Free, still one of the most widely used SEO plugins on WordPress.

Picking One

If you’re already running Yoast or Rank Math, their built-in schema support covers most sites without adding another plugin. Reach for a dedicated schema plugin when you need types or granular control neither SEO plugin offers, review-heavy content is the most common reason.
