1. Install and Activate the LearnDash Plugin

If you haven’t already, install and activate the LearnDash plugin on your WordPress site. You can purchase it from the LearnDash website.

2. Courses

1. Navigate to the LearnDash Dashboard: Once the plugin is activated, you’ll find a new menu item called “LearnDash” in your WordPress dashboard. Hover over it and click on “Courses.”

2. Add a New Course: In the Courses screen, click the “Add New” button to create a new course.

3. Enter Course Details: You’ll be taken to the course editor screen, where you can enter details about your course:

1. Title: Give your course a descriptive title.

2. Content: Provide a detailed description of your course, including what students will learn, course objectives, and any prerequisites.

3. Categories and Tags: Optionally, you can assign categories and tags to your course to help organize it on your site.

4. Featured Image: Upload a featured image for your course to make it visually appealing.

4. Builder: Using the builder you can finalise the overview of your course.

1. Add new Lesson: Add the name of the new topics. You can add multiple lessons

2. Add new section heading: You can add section heading, to divide it into sections to provide more clarity.

3. Add Quizzes: Quizzes are a great tool to test the knowledge of the users.

When you have made these changes save as Draft.

5. Configure Course Settings: Scroll down to the Course Settings section to configure various options for your course:

1. Course Access Settings: Choose whether your course will be open to anyone, require enrollment or be restricted to specific groups.

2. Course Prerequisites: Set any prerequisites that students must complete before enrolling in the course.

3. Course Price: If you’re selling your course, set the price and currency.

4. Course Duration: Define the duration of your course, including start and end dates if applicable.

5. Course Material: Upload additional course materials such as documents, videos, or presentations.

1. Navigate to Course Editor: Go to your WordPress dashboard and access the LearnDash Course Builder by clicking on “LearnDash” > “Courses” and then selecting the course you want to add a lesson to.

2.  Add a new Lesson: Inside the Course Builder, click on the “Lessons” tab. Then, click the “+ Add New Lesson” button.

3. Enter Lesson Details: In the lesson editor screen, you’ll see fields to input information about your lesson:

1. Title: Provide a descriptive title for your lesson.

2. Content: Add content to your lesson using the WordPress editor. You can include text, images, videos, embedded media, etc., to deliver your lesson content effectively.

3. Lesson Duration: Optionally, specify the duration of the lesson if you want to provide an estimated time for completion.

4. Featured Image: Upload a featured image for your lesson to make it visually appealing (optional but recommended).

4. Configure Lesson Settings: Scroll down to the Lesson Settings section to configure various options for your lesson:

1. Lesson Access Settings: Choose whether the lesson will be available immediately, require completion of previous lessons, or be available on a specific date.

2. Lesson Prerequisites: Set any prerequisites that students must complete before accessing the lesson.

3. Lesson Drip-Feed Content: If you want to release content progressively over time, you can use the drip-feed content option to schedule when lesson content becomes available.

4. Lesson Progression Settings: Configure how students progress through the lesson, such as allowing free navigation or requiring sequential completion.

5. Lesson Visibility: Determine whether the lesson is visible to everyone or only to enrolled students.

4. Passing Grade: Set the passing grade percentage for the quiz.

7. Question Bank: You can create questions directly within the quiz editor or select questions from your question bank.
