Do I need Dokan Pro?
For advanced features (subscriptions, refund, advanced shipping), yes. The free Dokan ships a usable marketplace out of the box.
Can vendors sign up themselves?
Yes. Vendor sign-up is open by default but you can require admin approval. We configure during setup.
What commission split do you set?
We start at 90/10 (90% to vendor) which you change in Dokan settings any time. There is no platform lock-in.
What about WCFM instead of Dokan?
WCFM is a viable alternative with a different fee model. Mention during scoping if you prefer it.
