Automotive
A WordPress portal
for auto service centres.
Customer service history, fleet account manager, technician network. Replace the calendar-printed-on-the-wall with a portal customers actually log in to.
Why community for auto service centres
Three reasons auto service centres build a community.
01
Service history sells the next visit
Customers who can pull up their service history from any device come back 2x more often. The portal is the trust receipt.
02
Fleet accounts are recurring revenue
Local fleet operators (taxi, last-mile, delivery) want one portal with all vehicles. Service history per VIN, scheduled maintenance, single invoice.
03
Technician knowledge compounds
A technician forum with searchable past diagnoses, OEM bulletins, and shared shortcuts cuts diagnostic time on rare issues from hours to minutes.
What BuddyX gives auto service centres
Four building blocks.
Customer service portal
Past invoices, current visit status, scheduled maintenance, recall alerts. Per vehicle, per customer.
Fleet manager dashboard
Fleet operators see all their vehicles in one view. Bulk-schedule maintenance; receive one consolidated invoice; track per-vehicle history.
Technician knowledge base
Internal forum with searchable past tickets, OEM bulletins, technique videos. Tagged by make, model, year, fault code.
Online booking + estimate
Customers book a service slot online; system pulls vehicle history; quotes estimated price + duration. Walk-in friction drops.

FAQ
Common questions
How do we sync with shop management software (Mitchell1, Shopware)?
Via Zapier or a custom REST integration. Customer profile + vehicles in BuddyX; the work order itself stays in Mitchell1. The customer-facing layer is BuddyX; the back-office stays where it already works.
Can technicians log time inside the portal?
BuddyX is not a time-tracking system. For shop labour, your DMS handles the clock-in. The technician knowledge base in BuddyX is for the diagnostic + reference layer.
What about car-history reports (Carfax)?
Display Carfax / AutoCheck reports in the customer profile as an attached doc. The portal becomes the single place a buyer sends to a mechanic for a "pre-purchase" check.
