Is this HIPAA-safe for patient progress notes?
Progress notes belong in your EHR (DrChrono, ChiroTouch, etc.), not WordPress. BuddyX is the engagement layer: education, booking, referrals, public-facing testimonials. The EHR stays the system of record.
Can patients book through the portal?
Yes. Amelia inside BuddyX handles appointment booking, recurring visits, and treatment-plan scheduling. Patients log in once and reach all their care touchpoints.
What about insurance verification?
BuddyX does not run insurance checks. For verification, integrate via your EHR or a tool like pVerify. The patient portal can show insurance details on file and prompt updates yearly.
