Does BuddyX make my site HIPAA compliant?
BuddyX is a theme - it does not store PHI or change compliance posture by itself. HIPAA compliance depends on your hosting (Business Associate Agreement, audit logs, encryption at rest) plus any plugin that touches patient data. BuddyX plays nicely alongside the standard HIPAA stack on WordPress.
Can patients book appointments through the site?
Yes, with a booking plugin like Amelia or Bookly added on. We wire the patient profile to the booking record so members see their upcoming visits in their dashboard.
What about multi-location practices?
BuddyPress groups model multi-location easily. Each location gets its own private group with staff scheduling, patient announcements, and KPIs. The corporate office sees the cross-location view.
