BuddyX

Dermatologists

A WordPress portal
for dermatology practices.

Patient education, treatment-plan tracking, teledermatology, before-after gallery (consented). The clinic that builds trust between visits.

Why community for dermatology practices

Three reasons dermatology practices build a community.

01

Patient education improves compliance

Patients who understand their condition (rosacea, acne, eczema) and their treatment plan adhere 60 percent better. Education is part of the treatment.

02

Before-after sells the consultation

A consented gallery of before-after results (cosmetic + medical) sets realistic expectations and converts website visitors into bookings.

03

Teledermatology grows the practice area

A simple async upload-and-review portal lets the practice serve patients beyond commuting distance. New revenue without new office space.

What BuddyX gives dermatology practices

Four building blocks.

Condition education library

Per-condition pages with explainer videos, what-to-expect timelines, home-care content. Patients arrive informed; consults are higher-value.

Treatment plan dashboard

Patients see their plan: medications, dose, duration, next visit. Plan progresses through milestones; soft prompts to refill or book.

Teledermatology intake

Patient uploads photos + symptom info; assigned dermatologist reviews; treatment recommendation lands in the patient profile. All within compliance.

Consented before-after gallery

Per-condition or per-procedure (Mohs, biopsy, cosmetic) gallery with patient consent recorded. Searchable for prospective patients.

FAQ

Common questions

How do we keep patient photos HIPAA-safe?

BuddyX is a theme. The HIPAA story sits in your hosting (BAA, encryption at rest, audit logs) plus a HIPAA-compliant intake form (Gravity Forms HIPAA Compliance add-on, or Formidable Forms). Photos upload encrypted; access is logged.

Can patients book biopsy follow-ups?

Yes. Amelia booking inside BuddyX. Treatment-plan dashboard surfaces "your biopsy results are in - book a follow-up" prompts when results arrive.

What about telehealth video?

For real-time video, layer in a HIPAA telehealth tool (Doxy.me embed, doxy invite link from the patient portal). BuddyX is the patient-management layer; the video tool is the device layer.
