How does this compare to Notion or Slite?

Notion is fast for internal docs; weaker for client-facing. BuddyX is heavier setup but presents a polished, branded portal to clients with full Auth + tiered access. Use both: Notion internal docs, BuddyX client-facing.

Can we embed live dashboards?

Yes. Looker Studio, Tableau, Google Analytics, Mixpanel all embed via iframe or shared link. The client sees real-time data inside their branded portal.

What about project management?

For deep PM (kanban boards, sprint planning), keep using Asana / Linear / Trello and embed the client-relevant view. The portal is the layer that shows clients what matters; the PM tool stays where the team already works.
