Event Planners
A WordPress portal
for event planners.
Client event rooms, vendor directory, planning timeline, RSVP management. The shared workspace that replaces five spreadsheets.
Why community for event planning companies
Three reasons event planning companies build a community.
01
Clients want visibility
High-ticket event clients want to see progress, budget, vendor confirmations. A private event room replaces three weekly status calls.
02
Vendors deserve a network
A trusted vendor directory with quality + reliability ratings becomes the planning advantage. Easier sourcing; better margins.
03
Past events sell future ones
A portfolio of past events organised by type (wedding, corporate, gala) with photos, vendor lists, and budget ranges drives the next inquiry.
What BuddyX gives event planning companies
Four building blocks.
Event rooms per client
Each upcoming event is a private group with the client, the planner, vendors. Timeline, RSVPs, budget, decisions in one place.
Vendor directory
Photographers, florists, DJs, venues by category + city. Internal ratings + notes. Public for client browsing if you want.
Planning timeline + tasks
Per-event timeline with milestones, task assignment, deadline reminders. Vendors see their tasks; client sees the macro view.
Portfolio of past events
Filterable gallery by event type, season, location, budget. Each event page becomes lead-gen for similar future events.

FAQ
Common questions
How does this fit with Honeybook or Aisle Planner?
Honeybook + Aisle Planner are SaaS with great client-facing UX but ongoing subscription cost. BuddyX is your own infrastructure: same UX possible, no per-event fee, full customisation. Build cost is roughly 12-18 months of subscription.
Can clients RSVP through the portal?
Yes. For weddings/galas, each guest gets a unique link; RSVP + meal selection + plus-ones captured in the portal. Replaces RSVP postcards.
What about vendor payments?
WooCommerce handles invoicing per vendor or per event. Stripe handles payments. Marketplace mode (Dokan) for true vendor-pays-platform-fee marketplaces.
