How does this sync with our AMS (Applied, Vertafore)?
BuddyX is the engagement + community layer; AMS stays the system of record. API integration surfaces policy data in the client portal without duplicating it. Two-way sync for claim status.
Can clients pay premiums through the portal?
Yes. WooCommerce Subscriptions for recurring premiums. Payments flow to your processor; policy status updates in the AMS via webhook.
What about commercial vs personal lines?
Both work. Personal-line client sees their auto + home + life policies. Commercial client sees their business policies + employee benefits. Tiered access per client type.
