Salons
A WordPress portal
for salons.
Client booking + history, stylist profiles, before/after gallery, loyalty programme. The salon experience that lives between visits.
Why community for salons
Three reasons salons build a community.
01
Stylists are the asset, not the brand
Most clients book a stylist, not a salon. A stylist profile page with portfolio, bio, availability turns Instagram followers into salon bookings.
02
Service history is retention
A client who can pull up the formula from her last colour visit will not switch stylists or salons. Treatment history is loyalty.
03
Loyalty wins frequency
A simple points programme tied to bookings + retail spend nudges clients to come every 5 weeks instead of every 8.
What BuddyX gives salons
Four building blocks.
Stylist directory + portfolio
Each stylist gets a profile with bio, specialty, availability, photo portfolio. Clients book directly with their stylist.
Client service history
Past visits, products used, formulas, retail purchases. Client + stylist see the same view at the chair.
Before/after gallery
Stylists upload before/after per visit with client consent. Public gallery filterable by service. Drives Instagram-style discovery.
Loyalty + retail combo

FAQ
Common questions
How do we sync with our salon POS?
Most salon POSes (Vagaro, Booker, Square Appointments) have APIs. Two-way sync visits + retail; loyalty points calculate inside BuddyX; redeemed at POS by reading the customer profile.
Can stylists manage their own pages?
Yes. Each stylist has a contributor role with edit access to their own profile + their portfolio uploads. Salon admin reviews before publish if you want.
What if a stylist leaves?
Soft-deactivate the stylist profile. Their portfolio archives; their clients get a "welcome back" email featuring other stylists with similar styles.
