How does this integrate with our school management system?
Most SMS platforms (PowerSchool, Skyward, Veracross) have REST APIs. BuddyX displays parent + student data from the SMS without duplicating the source of truth. Two-way sync as needed.
What about chat between parents and teachers?
BuddyPress messaging or a tier-restricted forum. For ad-hoc parent-teacher chat, recommend it stays in the portal so messages are auditable + logged.
Can we host parent-teacher conferences digitally?
Yes. Event signups via Events Calendar Pro; video link delivered to the parent profile; recording (with consent) saved per family.
