BuddyX

Transportation Services

A WordPress portal
for transportation companies.

Customer shipment tracking, driver network, route documentation, B2B accounts. Replace the third-party tracking page with one you own.

Why community for transportation companies

Three reasons transportation companies build a community.

01

Tracking is the new customer experience

Customers expect Amazon-grade visibility. A branded portal with shipment status, ETA, driver name, and photo retains accounts that competitors lose.

02

Drivers want a real community

Long-haul + last-mile drivers are isolated. A driver portal with route notes, rest-stop reviews, and weekly camaraderie content beats Slack groups.

03

B2B clients want one view

Logistics managers ship dozens of times per week. A B2B account portal with all shipments, history, recurring routes, and consolidated invoicing locks the relationship in.

What BuddyX gives transportation companies

Four building blocks.

Branded shipment tracking

Customers + clients see shipment status with map, ETA, driver, photo. Cuts customer-service inbound by 60 percent.

B2B account portal

Recurring shippers log in to schedule pickups, see active shipments, download bulk invoices, manage cost centres.

Driver community + dispatch

Drivers see today route, current load, customer notes. Forum for route tips, rest-stop reviews, peer advice.

Route knowledge base

Searchable route documentation: known traffic windows, customer dock procedures, special handling. New drivers ramp faster.

FAQ

Common questions

How do we get real-time driver location into the portal?

Driver phone runs your existing fleet GPS app (Samsara, Verizon Connect, Motive); the API streams to WordPress; the portal displays a map. BuddyX is the customer view, not the GPS device layer.

Can we handle multi-stop / route shipments?

Yes. Each shipment can have multiple stops with per-stop status. The customer sees only their stop; the dispatcher sees the full route.

What about B2B contract pricing?

Each B2B account has a custom rate card. Booking pulls the rate automatically; monthly invoice aggregates at the agreed rate. Accounting reconciles in one PDF.
